As a Perth family, we have visited numerous hotels and resorts in our state.
One of the top family-friendly resorts in WA is the RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort. Located in Shark Bay, the resort has a range of accommodation options, including self-contained villas and cabins. Kids will love the daily dolphin feeding sessions, while adults can relax by the pool or participate in one of the many activities.
Another popular family destination is the Crown Metropol in Perth. This hotel is excellent for a family holiday or staycation. Our daughters enjoyed the resort-style pools with a water slide while we sat back and enjoyed a cocktail.

We stayed in a deluxe two-bedroom villa (one bedroom was in the upstairs loft). It was clean and comfortable, with well-equipped amenities. The location is good, just one street from the beach, great for walks along the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the lack of sun loungers around the pool.

Crown Metropol Perth
⭐️ RATING: 8/10 Stars | 📍 LOCATION: Great Eastern Hwy, Burswood | ✅ Book it!
Facilities
The Crown Metropol Perth is a luxury resort in Burswood, close to East Perth and the city. While there may be more affordable options, it offers a range of family-friendly amenities, including a kids’ hub, a heated outdoor swimming pool, and a selection of restaurants and cafes.
The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable (the black-out curtains also ensure a good sleep).
We like Crown Metropol due to the lack of amenities onsite, including the amazing pool area, restaurants, bars, spa and gym. However, service has slipped the last couple of times, so we now stay at Crown Towers.
