First Impression
Located in Crown Towers, this place is great if, like me, you appreciate good food and a chic setting.
This modern and elegant restaurant is neutral, with beige, grey, and cream tones dominating the space. The furniture is upscale, with comfortable upholstered chairs around dining tables.
Decorative elements like mirrored columns and shelves add a touch of sophistication. The lighting is soft and ambient, enhancing the luxurious atmosphere.
Epicurean provides a relaxed yet refined dining experience.
The Food
This place is a hit for anyone who loves exploring different types of cuisines. The selection is vast and seriously delicious, with options that cater to all tastes. Think Indian, Portuguese, Chinese – you name it. The dessert selection is particularly impressive, offering so much variety you’d wish you had room for more.
My favourite is the seafood station. Top quality oysters, mussels, crab, sushi, and sashimi were the highlight for me.
Chefs carve freshly cooked roast meats to serve with a range of delicious side dishes, like Yorkshire Pudding and potatoes. Other delectable meats were ribs and duck.
The Asian section was amazing too – I loved the curries, honey chicken, and salt & pepper squid.
There were also fresh salads, cheeses, charcuterie, antipasto, breads, soup, pizza, pasta, and a lot more. I just couldn’t fit it in as I needed to leave room for the delectable desserts.
All the desserts I tried were delicious from the tiramisu to the little individual ones.
Service
The staff were attentive, ensuring plates were cleared quickly and water topped up. It made the whole dining experience enjoyable.

My Thoughts
This buffet is a bit of a splurge but I think it’s well worth it. The variety and quality of the seafood alone are exceptional, not to mention the range of salads, hot foods, and desserts. While drinks are extra, they’re not exorbitantly priced.
The overall experience amplifies the value. The service is consistently warm and friendly, making special occasions even more memorable. Plus, the buffet caters well to different dietary needs, such as vegetarian options.
In short, if you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special event or just want to indulge in a top-tier buffet experience, the price at Epicurean reflects the high quality of food and service you’ll enjoy.
However, with the 10% surcharge for groups of ten or more, I would look at alternatives for large gatherings.
