Diamond Forest Cottages Accommodation
Diamond Forest Farm Stay consists of cottage accommodation on 50 acres with a 3-acre dam and over 100 animals. There are two types of beautiful country cottages, both of which can cater for up to 5 people – the family cottages and the pet-friendly cottages (yes, you can even take your dog). They are spread well apart so you have plenty of privacy and the balconies have wonderful views of the dam and surrounding countryside.

We stayed in the family cottage which has two bedrooms and a bathroom. Each cottage has kitchen facilities so you can easily cater for yourselves if you don’t want to dine out. They include:
- Gas Cooktop
- Electric Frypan
- Rice Cooker
- Saucepans, Frypan
- Kettle and Coffee Plunger
- Crockery, cutlery and glasses
- Chopping boards and other utensils
- Tea Towels, bin liners
- Starter pack of coffee, tea and sugar
There’s also a barbecue that can be used if the weather is nice.
The lounge area has reverse cycle air conditioning to cool you down in the summer months and provide heating in the winter months. It also has an LCD flat TV and DVD player to keep you entertained at night.
The main bedroom has a Queen bed and the second has two singles. Another lovely touch are the electric blankets provided when it is cold. We went in July and were very glad of them (the girls loved it). All linen and towels are provided for your stay as well.
Keriann and Mark are gracious hosts who really make you feel welcome and are happy to answer any questions you have about the farm.
Things to do at Diamond Forest Farmstay
The highlight of staying here is the daily morning feed. You get to walk around with your hosts and help hand feed the many animals. It usually takes about an hour to an hour and a half but time goes quickly as it is so much fun (for the adults as well as the children).
There are also two canoes on the property that are free to use for guests.
You can even fish in the dam as it is stocked with rainbow trout.
Our daughters loved the animals and just wanted to hang around the farm all day to visit them! Their favourites were Flyby the horse, Choppa the red kangaroo and Bambi the Jersey Cow.
Diamond Forest Farm Stay is located in between Manjimup and Pemberton in Western Australia.
